Russell was born and raised in Jackson MO and was a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School. He went on to get a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University.

In 2009 he married his high school sweetheart and they have two boys that round out their family of 4. Although he claims he’s not cool enough to own a horse (LOL), he and his family do have a 15-acre farm in Millersville where they love to spend time outdoors together. You may also see him around the community coaching the various sports teams he and his boys are a part of.

Russell previously worked in the retail industry for almost 15 years with the majority of that time being spent in salaried management. He was honored to be asked to join the ministry staff of the church and started full time in January of 2024.

He is very passionate about sharing Jesus and has a big heart for family ministry. He truly loves working with kiddos as well as helping parents become the spiritual leaders that God designed them to be.

Our kids are our #1 mission field. It has to start at home!
